The DeSoto Parish Library is celebrating National Library Card Sign-Up Month this September with a fun and exciting Golden Ticket Giveaway,  an initiative to encourage residents to sign up for a library card and explore the many services their local library offers.

Embracing the American Library Association’s 2025 theme, “One Card, Endless Possibilities,” the campaign highlights how a single library card can unlock a world of opportunity, from borrowing books and digital media to using technology, attending community programs, and accessing valuable learning and career resources.

Throughout September, anyone who:

• Signs up for a new library card,

• Renews an expired one, or

• Update their existing card at any DeSoto Parish Library branch, and will receive a Golden Ticket Scratch-Off!
