There were bunny ears, bright smiles, and giggles at Stonewall Library last Friday as Ms. Tonette, the library’s beloved Children’s Librarian, hosted a special Easter-themed Baby Bounce Program that brought families together for a joyful morning filled with springtime fun.
Held on April 11, the event welcomed babies and toddlers with their caregivers for a lively session of songs, movement, and crafts, designed to celebrate the season and support early learning in a playful, welcoming environment.
The highlight of the morning was the Easter craft: a simple, adorable bunny made entirely from paper plates. Using glued-on googly eyes, paper plates, cut paper ribbons, and a little imagination, the babies (with help from their grown-ups) created charming bunny faces that were as unique as each child.
The Baby Bounce Program, held every Friday at 9:30 a.m., is specially designed for children from birth to 4 years old. Interactive songs, finger plays, movement activities, and themed crafts make it a fun and engaging way to support language development and social skills while bonding with your little one.
Families who missed the Easter edition can look forward to more themed fun in the weeks ahead. Everyone is welcome—no registration required.
