Ms. Ross began her   library career on December 14, 1981 when the library reopened under its first director Ronald Bausch. Mr. Terry says, “I want to take this time to send a congratulatory note for completing 40 years of service with the DeSoto Parish Library, a significant milestone in your career and also an important day for our library. I know that success doesn’t come without hard work and commitment. You have worked extremely hard and make it an inspiring journey from where you started to the position of a Manager for our Main location. I sincerely express my personal appreciation for your achievement of this milestone. Loyal and dedicated employees like you are the foundation to any successful library. I am honored and very pleased to applaud you for your glorious performance.
