The Golden Ticket Giveaway at DeSoto Parish Library is in full swing, and the excitement is contagious! Since its kickoff on September 3, 2025, we've welcomed many new patrons and seen countless returning members updating their information—all eager to participate in this fun and rewarding event.

On the vibrant afternoon of September 4th, the Stonewall Library Club, led by Ms. Tonnette, was buzzing with creativity and fall spirit during its festive pumpkin painting session!

The DeSoto Parish Library is celebrating National Library Card Sign-Up Month this September with a fun and exciting Golden Ticket Giveaway, an initiative to encourage residents to sign up for a library card and explore the many services their local library offers.

Stonewall Library is excited to offer a welcoming space for those interested in learning the art of crochet. Led by Ms. Karen, the library’s beginner-friendly crochet class meets twice a month, providing a fun and relaxing way for participants to learn new skills and connect with others.

The Mansfield Library hosted its “Come Make Waves, Save Lives” Blood Drive on Thursday, August 21st, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and it was a tremendous success! Community members came together in a safe and welcoming environment to donate blood, making a significant impact in saving lives.

Story Hour at the Logansport Library on August 20th, 2025, was fun and exciting! Kids dove into the wonderful world of frogs through lively dancing, engaging stories, and creating the cutest heart-shaped frog crafts.

A recent STEM session at the Pelican Library was a hands-on hit! Kids combined science and fun by making homemade ice cream in Ziploc bags, then got creative with a cool ice cream-themed craft.

The Stonewall Library’s Book Club continues to live up to its reputation as a community favorite. This afternoon, the Louisiana Room echoed with laughter, lively discussion, and the unmistakable warmth of good company.
