The Stonewall Library SWAP group has been making a significant impact with its heartwarming initiative. They have handcrafted beautiful corsages over the past two months, carefully selecting each flower and ribbon.

The Friends of the Library recently hosted a delightful celebration at the Logansport Library to honor our esteemed citizens and patrons over 90 years old.

Alice Poole emerged victorious in the challenging Escape Room game at DeSoto Parish Library during National Library Week (April 7-13).

April 7-13 marks National Library Week, a week-long nationwide celebration of libraries and library workers to promote library use and support. The American Library Association has chosen "Ready, Set, Library" as the theme for National Library Week 2024.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Big Buck Contest!

Mrs. Darron Spencer, the former MA Children's Librarian, and Ms. Graham, the new MA Children's Librarian, hosted a Kids' Christmas Party held last December 19, 2023, at Mansfield Library.

The Pelican Branch Library holds a “Big Buck Contest” from October 1, 2023, until the end of deer season, January 31, 2024.

The children who participated in the STEM program at the Logansport Library had a wonderful time.

The DeSoto Fire District 1 visited Logansport Library Story Hour last Wednesday, October 17. The children were so thrilled to see our firefighters and got an up-close look at their gear and equipment.

A beautiful fall wreath was created for Kids' Craft Day at the Pelican Branch Library.

Everyone had a great time crafting with Ms. Angelica on the event Adult Craft Day that was held on August 22nd at the Pelican Branch Library.

Local author/illustrator Terri Lacher presented a Writer's Workshop at Logansport DeSoto Parish Library.

Every first Thursday of every month at 10 AM Stonewall Library is doing the Adult Bingo in Stonewall Library with Mr. Horton.

The Logansport Library was asked to participate in the Health Fair on July 14th, at the Logansport School’s Elementary gym.

Summer Reading Program at DeSoto Parish Library is over for this year 2023. Each branch has given prizes and awards to the summer reading participants.

The Summer Reading Program Kick-Off event was a huge success!
